At Poly Plastic Products and Sigma Specialty Films, we are committed to our environment.
Poly Plastics & Sigma Specialty Films has been investing in its recycling departments since the 1970’s. Currently Poly Plastics has recycling lines (2 in each location) capable of recycling over 80,000 pounds per day. In addition, all of our employees participate in a recycling program that aids in minimizing our impact on our landfills.

Poly Plastics has been extruding films for over 65 years. It currently has plants in Delano, PA. and Marshville, NC. Presently it has 4 recycling lines, 28 extrusion lines and employs 200 skilled workers in its two facilities totaling 400,000 sf. We manufacture a wide variety of poly bags and sheeting, shrink bags and shrink films, printed bags and films, and a multitude of other custom bags and films.
Our Poly bags are used as drum, bin and box liners in many different industries including but certainly not limited to the janitorial /sanitation, food service, agriculture, manufacturing sector and anywhere else as it is needed.
Our custom bags are also used to help protect items during the shipping of many retail products from the manufacturers to retail stores. From TV’s to shirts, you’ve purchased in a retail store was shipped in a box, but protected with a bag.
Our machinable and shrink films are used in the garment industry, food packaging industry, toy industry, agricultural sector and many, many other industries. For example, our films have been used for unitizing bottled beverages in cases to wrapping and protecting mattresses and furniture for shipment to retail stores.
Benefits of Our Bags and Films Our recycled materials (quite often up to 97% recycled content) help to cut back the need to include new first run polymers into our can liners and specific other finished products. Poly Plastics modern laboratory allows us to continually explore thinner and stronger film blends that help to reduce the carbon footprint as well as reducing failures throughout the supply chain to the consumer.
Also, our facilities SQF Program (Safe Quality Foods) allows us to supply products to the Food Industry that are manufactured under strict guidance that help to ensure the safest possible packaging materials. We strive to ensure our practices and procedures are aimed at keeping our employees and the surrounding environment safe from its impact.
